Electronic Commerce, Inc. Hires Six New Employees

Electronic Commerce, Inc. (ECI), a leader in business process outsourcing of payroll, human resources, benefits, timekeeping and tax, is proud to announce the following additions to its staff.

Tim Kaiser joins ECI as a Timeclock Implementation Specialist and provides Empower timeclock product implementation, training and support to customers and associates. Kaiser has over 7 years experience in technology-based customer service and comes to ECI from Indaba, Inc. in South Bend, Indiana.

Jack Cain joins ECI as a Major Account Representative. In his new role, Cain manages the sale of ECI’s proprietary payroll, human resources and benefits software known as Empower. Cain will be responsible for product sales and client contact in the Indianapolis territory. He has over 21 years of software sales experience including 12 years of human resources, payroll, timekeeping and tax software sales. He comes to ECI from Government Utilities Technology Service where he served as the Vice President of Business Development.

Marc Baker comes to ECI as Director of the Project Office and is responsible for project planning and management of the implementation and operation of Empower software products and services. Baker joins ECI with over 14 years experience in software management and consulting and has worked with companies such as Keystone RV, Goshen, Indiana; City of South Bend, South Bend, Indiana; AM General, South Bend, Indiana; Caterpillar, Inc., Peoria, Illinois; and Whirlpool, Inc., Benton Harbor, Michigan.

Tanisha Willis joins ECI as the Director of Operations with a focus on training. Willis designs, plans, analyzes, implements and delivers all corporate training programs, policies, documentation and procedures. Willis is Six Sigma Quality certified from her employment at General Electric. She comes to ECI from Feed the Children, Inc. where she was the Manager of Training and Quality.

Michael Wenzelmaier fills the role as ECI’s Senior Network Engineer where he installs, configures and maintains the internal network of all ECI division offices and provides technical assistance to employees and clients. Wenzelmaier joins ECI from Interlink Companies in Elkhart, Indiana where he held the position of Network Engineer.

Tom Lode joins ECI as a Senior Programmer . In his new role, he designs and develops enhancements to Empower that automate specific business processes for ECI clients. Lode has been in the software development industry for over 9 years where he was most recently a partner in Digital Craftsmen, Inc. in Rolling Prairie, Indiana.

Jennifer Smith is assuming the role of Database Administrator. In her new role, Smith coordinates computer database changes as well as codes, tests and implements databases. Smith has eight years of experience developing, testing and implementing systems on various platforms with multiple types of relational databases. She comes to ECI from BluePhoenix Solutions (formerly IntraComp Group Inc.).
