Empower Release 5.0.3

September 23, 2005

In October, 2005, ECI will deploy Empower Release 5.0.3. This release will include the following enhancements:

• New icons and buttons that are more intuitive for use.
• General improvements to the look and feel of the report navigator.
• Vacation and PTO hours accrual can be based on a new date value controlled by the client, rather than based on Original Date of Hire.
• Hours accrual will occur after hours deductions to allow employees to continue to accrue when close to their maximum accrual hours.
• In the Manual Check process, created a separate screen for editing the new pay distributions for better control of the amounts going to ACH deposits vs. checks.
